This particular painting is the finale of 27 pieces developed for the series. Not an end of the Modern Bulbs, but a culmination of techniques at this time. When I was almost finished this piece, I found a definition for emergence that means "bring to light" and I love that thought for this painting.
Mood: garden, growth, roots, urban abstract, multicolored palette in reds/pinks, gold/orange, turquoise/neutrals
A fanciful remix of her previous abstract floral artworks. In this new series TaLisa paints an interpretation of botanicals from the beginning, before the blooms.
Size 24x36" mixed media oil painting. Created on Richeson Premium Hardboard (⅛” flat panel), primed for oil. Custom mixed colors, metallic paint details, plus linework and many areas of texture sealed into the background. The panel is not-ready-to-hang; needs framing for collector's custom decor. A rare artwork on larger sized panel from this series.
