This particular painting is the finale of 27 pieces developed for the series. Not an end of the Modern Bulbs, but a culmination of techniques from a year of working through the series. It was like creating multiple paintings on the same canvas. When I was almost finished this piece, I found a definition for emergence that means "bring to light" and I love that thought for this painting.
Mood: garden, growth, roots. urban abstract, multicolored palette of neutrals with reds/pinks, gold/orange, turquoise. the crown jewel, life-changing
A fanciful remix of her previous abstract floral artworks. In this new series TaLisa paints an interpretation of botanicals from the beginning, before the blooms.
